The way I see it--
The way I see it--
Volume 2
No N*&^%RS in the White House! That's right you heard me! Don't shoot the messenger. I was told today by a lovely Red Neck, seated on his 2002 Harley Chopper (I read the back of his T-Shirt of course) which stated that there isn't any room for people of African descent (who have also been known as a N*&^%RS throughout history) are not welcomed to lead as President of the United States- much less living or working in the White House.
This message is dedicated to the small-minded brethren who seem to have not gotten it that there IS a real possibility that a Black man can be elected to run this country. He will represent all the BLACK hands that built the White House- a White House Black Market.
We all know that this presidential election is the most accurate racial barometer to date, but I challenge each of you to rise above your innate emotional need to not live out the worst part of yourself. This election is not about Black or white, it's about who is the best candidate for the job, who will get this nation out of the credit crisis, who will answer the call at 3 am, WHO will find Osama Bin Laden? Those are the true barometers of candidacy.
Let's remember to be united in bringing this country back from the political misdirection we've endured for the last 8 years; rather than focusing on the racial radicals views of the Willie Lynches of the world. Oh by the way, he was an ignorant, non-educated white man too. No matter what your political views may be-- it cannot be denied, history is being made- so play your position!
Economic Times?
Economic Times?
Everyone can't help but notice these are trying times for our nation as well as nations around the world. It is really a true testement to the resilicence of Americans who can not only face these times but try to come out on top.
Globally the market has faced both ups and downs but has been steadfast on one, sorry TWO fronts. Beer and Shopping! No matter how bad things get, human nature can't resist the urge, the NEED to spend money on booze and good shoes! Just the other day I found myself shopping for not one pair but three pairs of Manolo Blahnik 6 inch heels for a one night ONLY event. Of course I don't have 3 pairs of feet but just in case the hue was slightly off, I would have two more choices to fall back on.
And what about the drinking? I for one don't mind a little R&R with my favorite glass of chardonnay or merlot, but let's face it, folks are kicking back and chugging down a lot more than that.
Just two weeks ago a dear friend and fellow Economic Pulsesetter Bershan Shaw opened her first bar in midtown, Haven Lounge, New York City and the sells have been through the roof. New shoes and cocktails for EVERYONE! I don't know if I buy the whole Economic turmoil, Recession, the Nations debt is at an all time high--seems to me if you put your money in bars, food chains and your favorite shoe designers stocks-- you may come out on top!
